It is extremely difficult to put into words a thank you that will justify all your hard work , research, input, time and effort that you put into the 2006 Ryder Cup at the K Club – although we will give it a veritable try !Jeanne – you and the team at Celtic Helicopters were a true pleasure to meet and to work with. I think I can honestly say that the pre-event build up from six months out was possibly the most challenging of all our careers and that your dedication and preparation in advance of the event week was a lesson to all of us. As a result of this, the week ran incredibly smoothly with regards to the helicopter transport despite the extremely difficult weather conditions. The operation was a complete success especially when looking at the amount of movements throughout the week – a record for The Ryder Cup.
I can only imagine how busy the week must have been for all of you at Celtic and your unstinting support throughout the last 12 months has been appreciated by all of us at Ryder Cup. Could you please pass our thanks to Ciaran especially for all his support and kindness over the year, as well as the rest of the Celtic team.
I think we are all aware of what a success and achievement we have all been involved in here and can all feel proud of ourselves and all our hard work.
